A surprisingly large part of the manifestation process is about managing momentum.
What do I mean by that?
When you have a new desire, there is almost always momentum towards the opposite of that desire.
If you want money, there is almost always momentum towards lack of money, or at least the feeling of not having as much as you’d like.
If you want a better relationship, there’s almost always momentum towards sub-par relationships, or even the inability to find a partner.
So in a very real way, when you are trying to manifest something new, you aren’t just dealing with creating new momentum towards your wanted outcome.
Instead, you’re also dealing with soothing the momentum towards the unwanted.
Unfortunately, this element is quite often ignored. As a result, people often feel like they are mis-manifesting, or getting totally different results from what they wanted, without ever realizing that this is the reason why that happens.
I mentioned recently that I had some negative momentum throughout November and the early part of December. I let my fears run away with me, and as a result, things started to spin out of control.
It impacted every part of life. Heck, even the Christmas gift I bought Christine got mixed up at the warehouse and we got the wrong one. I’m positive it was a minor remnant of my “things aren’t working out” vibration. Luckily we got that remedied now.
Anyway the point is, for quite a while it felt hopeless, like there was no way I could fix this momentum. And the worse I felt about it, the worse it got, of course.
Until finally I got control of myself and realized that if I didn’t manage this momentum, I would keep getting tossed around by the rapids of life.
It was only possible because I have the tools at my disposal to manage momentum, and have done so repeatedly.
But I can only imagine how it would go for someone who didn’t have those tools. It’s quite possible to get caught up in a vicious cycle like this for years. As they say, the worse it gets, the worse it gets. There are unfortunately millions of unemployed right now who can likely attest to this fact.
A few days ago, I wrote that nothing happens by accident. If you want a big change in life, it has to be accompanied by an act of will — by a new vision that you insist on holding to fruition.
Otherwise, you’ll just keep creating by default. You’ll just get what you’ve always gotten. Momentum will continue upon its inexorable path. Bad momentum will get worse, while yes, good momentum will get better.
But is that what you want? Do you want life to continue upon the same path you currently find yourself on? Do you want to repeat the same holding pattern over and over again?
The only solution is managing your momentum.
And to do that, something has to change.
That something is the willingness to hold a different vision. To allow your vision to prevail over that of default reality.
It’s not easy, especially when you’re caught up by some powerful negative momentum. But just as I realized in my own journey, if you don’t do it, then the rapids of life will just keep tossing you about.
No one can save you, except your own willingness to change.
If you’re ready to make that change, then I invite you to join me for this Saturday’s masterclass, Letting Your Vision Prevail.
