One benefit I’ve noticed of this new, softer approach to manifesting is that a greater feeling of alignment quite often leads to little surprises that I wasn’t even trying to manifest.
It’s almost like the Universe likes to put little surprises along our path, just because it’s fun and we enjoy them.
Recently I had been getting back into some of my favorite books from Richard Dotts. Then, out of the blue, I saw that he had literally just published a new book this past Monday. It was as though my thinking about his books happened at the exact same time that he published his newest one. It was such a crazy synchronicity that I could hardly believe it!
Another, similar surprise was that I had the very light intention to find a good fiction book to read. I say a “very light intention” because none of this was deliberate manifesting or anything: I just knew I wanted to relax and read something engaging.
Then, again out of the blue, I got an email that there was a new book in one of my favorite sci-fi series (Bobiverse, in case you are curious). No idea why, because apparently it had been published a month ago, but Audible decided to notify me about it yesterday.
Individually these are all small, albeit pleasant, coincidences. But collectively it’s a sign to me that life is meant to be based on joy, and that when we allow ourselves to align, the Universe happily gives us such surprises.
That’s why it’s so important to take it easy with our manifestations. When we try to force things into place or to move very quickly toward what we want, sometimes it’ll work — though sometimes it’ll backfire.
But, “force” and “moving quickly” aren’t really aligned with enjoying the little surprises in life, are they?
When I had been taking a more focused, intense approach, it felt like a lot more work. I felt like I was trying to reach a goal through the power of my will, and there wasn’t time for anything else.
Essentially, I was trying to do it by my own power, when manifestation has very little at all to do with our power.
When we give up more and more control over to the Universe, though, more magic and miracles start to happen spontaneously.
This is all meant to be easy, but all too often we overcomplicate it with our ego and need to control things.
When’s the last time you allowed yourself to stop and enjoy life? Have you been so hyper-focused on your goal that you forget to stop and enjoy the little surprises along the way?
I want to share this softer, more gentle approach with you. Even though it’s softer and easier, that doesn’t mean it needs to be slower. It’s just far more enjoyable, and far more sustainable in the long-run.
That’s why I’m offering my new masterclass, Creating From Non-Doing. I want to show you the way to have everything you want, without putting in tons of work to get it, and having time to experience the magic of life along the way.
If that seems more in alignment with the kind of life you’d like to live, then I hope to see you in the class!
