Do you have control over your reality or do you not?
I generally say that you do, as I said just a couple weeks ago.
But then some people tend to take that and believe that they have egoic control: that they can force reality to do what they want it to do.
I’m going to try to give this message, which will sound a little contradictory, but I will do my best to clarify.
You, as the ego, as the individual person you believe yourself to be, do not have control.
And yet you try to exert control all the time. You try to manipulate the world around you through your actions, words, and even your thoughts, to get what you want.
You very likely do this all day, every day.
- When you respond in anger to another, you are trying to control them.
- When you are anxious about how someone else will respond, you are trying to control them.
- When you try to persuade someone to your side, you are trying to control them.
- When you fear the outcome of some situation, you are trying to control it.
- When you are visualizing or affirming for something to work out a certain way, you are trying to control that.
As you can see, you are trying to control others all the time.
And notice, just about all of these are associated with negative emotions. If you are feeling positive, then you simply do not try to control. Control is alien to higher vibrations, which should tell you everything you need to know about why you should drop it.
See, this is the ego’s pitiful attempt to shape its reality after its own desires. And, it never works. I mean, even if one of your attempts succeed, you still aren’t truly happy. You just go off and try to control something else. It’s a never-ending cycle of suffering.
So then where does the law of attraction come in?
Oddly enough, it comes by letting go of these egoic attempts to control reality. It comes when you can accept all as it is.
Then, from that place of neutrality— of Zero— you imprint your will upon reality and let the Universe do the rest.
Manifesting is not saying “I’m going to force the Universe to bring me this thing,” it’s saying, “I accept all. But, this is the direction I choose to go in.”
Only by pure 100% acceptance can you truly gain any semblance of control over reality: no longer from an egoic perspective, but from the God that you truly are.
Guess what it’s called when you aren’t accepting what is, and thereby trying to control from ego?
That’s called resistance. And I have a course coming out in just 1 week that will break down resistance to a level you’ve never seen before. It’ll show you how to truly accept life as it is and thereby gain true control over your destiny.
