The less you need your manifestation, the faster and more easily it will come to you.
Click to tweetChristine and I are reading this book called Before the Devil Breaks You by Libba Bray. It’s part of a series called The Diviners.
Anyway I read something from this book yesterday which really struck me as so applicable to the law of attraction.
It’s a part where one of the main characters, Theta, is auditioning for a huge acting role. And it says this:
Theta was a great performer; she knew that. So many performers needed the audience’s love and approval. Theta didn’t need it, and that seemed to be the very thing that drove audiences wild: They wanted what they felt they couldn’t have.
What’s this have to do with the law of attraction?
Imagine the “performers” as you, and the audience as your manifestation.
In life, do you act like you need that manifestation? If so, you’re only weakening yourself, and actually pushing your manifestation away.
But when you act like Theta in this quote—when you stop needing that manifestation and simply do what you do out of enjoyment—that manifestation will flood into your life so suddenly that it’ll shock you.
It’s that feeling of neediness that is actually holding it at bay. Hold the vision, but drop the neediness. Doing this simple thing will make you so much more likely to achieve that goal.
This Saturday, I’m holding a webinar on exactly how to deal with these big manifestations.
Big manifestations are one of those things that many law of attraction teachers just don’t address.
But I’ll show you exactly why you haven’t manifested those “big” desires yet, and how you can start doing so immediately.
