For the last month or so, we’ve been discussing the pathway of a manifestation.
Finally this series is coming to an end, with the fourth and last level: matter. Hopefully you’ve enjoyed this series so far. 🙂
To recap, here are the four levels:
The level of matter corresponds in Kabbalah to the World of Action (Assiah).
The part of this post actually talking about matter will be rather short, because, well, not a whole lot is going on at this level. It’s just the level at which you receive your manifestation.
However, after my discussion of matter, I’ll give a brief overview of the four levels, and how to apply this knowledge to your life.
If you want the big picture on this, with specific techniques for getting from level-to-level, then you’ll want to sign up for The Art of Reality Creation 3.0, as I give tons more detail there about every level, as well as how to bring them all together.
Receiving Your Manifestation
After all that, it is time to finally receive your manifestation.
Obviously there’s not much to say about this, because you don’t play a huge part in that. The only part you could play in it is inspired action, which I’ll talk about a bit later.
But receiving is actually a little harder than it sounds at first.
This is a bit difficult to differentiate, because the process of opening and receiving really begins on the level of emotions, as I discussed last week.
I told you that you must create that space of openness in order to receive your manifestation.
Well, this is the point at which the openness is hopefully present, and you do indeed receive.
What I have to emphasize is that trying is no part of this.
Action may be a part, albeit a very small one. But trying, or struggle, or effort, or any kind of stress whatsoever, is not part of this process.
In fact, it’s in the letting go that you can actually receive.
I’ve tested this out over and over again in my own life, and it’s proven to be true every time: as long as I was trying to get the goal, the goal would not come. But as soon as I let go of the effort and just allowed, then the goal came almost instantly.
In a sense, if you want the secret to near-instant manifestation, a big part of that is simply not trying so hard.
The Universe doesn’t respect hard work. Hard work is just a cop-out for doing the real inner work necessary to achieve your goal.
When you are in the flow, what you do will look like “hard work”, but it will be far from.
Now we come to our favorite subject: inspired action.
Action is obviously a part of the physical.
But what you have to understand about action is, it’s not really the cause of anything.
The way we tend to see action is that we act, and by acting, we cause things to happen. If I buy something at the store, that action causes me to receive that item, and to subsequently have less money in my bank account.
Yes, that may be true. But when you start to look at the bigger picture, that’s where the whole thing breaks down.
Did you get the job because you sent in your application and went to the interview?
On a very specific level, yes, perhaps that’s true.
But on a higher level, those things were only manifestations of the prevailing energy of getting a job. That energy crystallized in such a way that it made it effortless to send in that application and go to the interview.
When I was about 11 years old, I had what was quite possibly the worst trip ever.
My mother was going away for training, and she wanted to leave her car with the person who’d be taking care of me in the interim.
So, this person had to drive my mother out to the training, which was about 5 hours away in Philadelphia. And of course I had to go along. Then, she had to drive us back, leaving my mother at her training for those two weeks.
Well, on the way home, we ran into every imaginable difficulty. We got seriously lost, then got stuck in a snow storm, got into a minor accident, got a flat tire, and nearly ran out of gas. And, just missed the Turnpike closing and trapping us by maybe 10 minutes.
In short, it took us 10 hours to get home, when it should have taken only 5.
Anyway, during part of that fiasco, we were on the side of the road, I think from the flat tire.
Well after that was fixed, she tried to pull back out on the road. And a whole bunch of squealing and swerving ensued.
What happened? She had forgotten to take off the emergency brakes. As long as those brakes were on, she had no control over the car.
That incident reminds me of what happens with some people when they insist on taking action, despite it not being inspired.
They have the emergency brakes on, and so the wheels are locked into place and they are swerving all over life, feeling like they are making progress, because at least they are moving.
If you’d only take off those brakes, then action would be so much more effortless. It would be a natural extension of your desire, and the energy driving that desire.
In other words, the car would be cooperating with you.
Think of that the next time you feel like your action is just causing a bunch of stress.
Do you have your metaphorical emergency brakes on? If so, disengage, and wait for life to cooperate with you.
Otherwise, you’ll feel like you’re going somewhere, but you’re really just spinning your wheels.
So, inspired action should be a natural extension of your being. It should be the effect, not the cause.
You have to stop thinking of this as something you have to cause to happen with your actions, and start thinking of it as your actions being a natural effect of your inner focus.
The real cause is your inner reality. Everything on the level of matter is just effect, including action.
When you try to flip that on its head, you get very poor results.
Putting It All Together
So, we’ve at last come to the end of this series. Now, you know at least the basics about each level and step of this process.
You start by choosing your goal, and just feeling the possibility of it, in that place where all things are possible. I’ve called this the “Infinite Possibilities Matrix”.
Then, you allow more detail to come, letting that energy expand in you. As it expands and gets stronger, you let go to the Universe, trusting it fully to bring your manifestation to completion.
Next, you just focus on creating openness within yourself for that manifestation to be delivered to you. You don’t try to do anything, but just leave it in the Universe’s hands, and clear space within yourself.
And finally, you remain open to any action that naturally arises, and otherwise simply receive the manifestation as it is.
That is a basic framework of how this all works.
Of course, if you want the complete picture, I strongly recommend signing up for The Art of Reality Creation 3.0.
It goes into quite a bit more detail than I have in these posts, and gives several exercises and techniques to move from one level to the next.
Until October 15, this class is being offered at only $147, after which it will go up to $197.
So I suggest signing up now to learn the full story behind exactly how the law of attraction works, and how to apply it to your own life.
How About You?
Now it’s your turn. Does this process make sense to you? Feel free to ask any clarifying questions about how these levels work together. I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments.
