Brandon: Hey, everyone. Welcome to “The Art of Reality Creation 3.0.” This is just Brandon and Christine right now. Hi, Christine.
Christine: Hi! Hi, everyone.
Brandon: Because a lot of people couldn’t attend, so we’re just doing this on our own. We will send out the recording. If you have questions, feel free to ask. I am thinking about sending out a Facebook group for everyone to ask their questions and be a central place to discuss all these ideas.
Christine: This stuff is going to be really cool.
Brandon: Yes, it’s going to be kind of detailed. I think that it deserves a lot of discussion, so I really would like the interaction even after the class. I think it would be really beneficial to do that. There’s going to be a lot of material. You will have the recording, and a transcript will be available as well if you want to get a distilled version of all this. It is a lot of material. A lot of it, you’ll recognize from the blog, but it will be taken to the next level. You’ll recognize some concepts, but they will be taken a lot further as well.
Christine: I know people are going to say, “Oh, she has to say this because she’s his wife,” but to be honest with you, this is stuff that is really fascinating. I’m really excited to learn right along with you. There’s things for me, too.
Start with a Goal Statement
Brandon: Probably. [laughs] Okay, so we’re starting with (obviously) your goal. Just starting right from the beginning, I’m assuming you have something you want to manifest. That’s usually how I do these classes. You pick the thing you want to manifest. What I universally do with every person I work with is you choose what it is that you want. Now, at this moment, you don’t have to get super specific. You don’t have to add a lot of details, but you do have to know in general what it is you want to manifest, with a bit of specifics if possible.
So, if you say “more money,” does that mean a dollar? Does that mean a million dollars? Does that mean a hundred dollars? What does that mean? It doesn’t have to be an exact figure, but ballpark range. What exactly is more money to you? If you want a relationship, what exactly does that mean to you? Long-term, short-term, monogamous, polygamous, it’s all up to you. What is it that you want out of a relationship? I’d recommend getting clear on a bit of that.
The first thing I’d recommend on any goal is to get a general idea (we’ll add details later) of what it is that you want to manifest. With that, I recommend doing a goal statement. A goal statement—I’ve talked about this on the blog or in a podcast—is a statement of what it is that you want. The statement is written in such a way—usually I recommend writing it down, but if you just want to memorize it and say it in your head, that’s okay, too. I do that a lot.
A goal statement is structured in such a way that it speaks to your subconscious mind. It’s not just “I want a thousand dollars” or even “I choose a thousand dollars.” It’s not just that because the subconscious mind can’t really get on board with that. It doesn’t really care about that. What it cares about is emotion. When you’re constructing your goal statement, you want to include a lot of emotion.
What I usually have people do is use adjectives. It might be something like, “I feel so abundant as I look at my bank account and see that it has a thousand dollars than it had before.” That might be really good. You notice the description of what you’re doing when you find this out, how you feel about it (you felt abundant), and it’s in the present tense. You want to add a lot of descriptive words like that, a lot of adjectives, especially emotional adjectives, and also action words of what you’re doing, how you’re doing it, what you discovered when you had this goal, things like that.
The goal statement should evoke within you that emotion that you want—so the abundance that you want if you imagine looking in that bank account and seeing the extra thousand dollars. If that doesn’t do it for you, you might imagine buying something you really want to buy with that thousand dollars. You might talk about how you’re buying a new computer or whatever it is that you might want to buy, if that does it for you. So it’s not one thing. You have to determine what it is that gets you going. What is it that really makes you feel the emotion of the goal? That’s the important thing because what you want is a simple statement. I do recommend as short as possible. I’ve had some clients who have made it sort of long. If it works for them, then I don’t really argue, but in general I recommend the shorter the better. You want this to be something either you memorize or can read off easily that is going to evoke the emotion. If you need to add more details, whatever. I don’t like to get too complicated with these.
Christine: Complicated makes things really convoluted. It’s not worth it. Don’t make it too wordy, either—that’s what I would say. Packed with adjectives and short.
Brandon: Not too wordy. Pretty concise. Simplify it. Just mess with it until you get that one statement that really triggers the emotion you want to be feeling with this. That’s the first thing I would do with your goal: get a goal statement. Either write it down or memorize it. That’s going to be your affirmation or thing you read off that really triggers that emotion. That is step #1. Before anything else starts, this is the first thing. This will lead right into what we’re about to do next, which is going to be the different stages of the manifestation process. This is what you need to do first. It’s very practical. It might not seem that fun. It should be, though, because you’re working with stuff that should feel good to you, or it wouldn’t be your goal.
Christine: Right.
Brandon: So at this moment, don’t worry about resistance. If stuff comes up, just put that aside for now. We’ll deal with that stuff later. This is not even close to the time to be working with resistance. Just let yourself daydream. What is it that really, really would get you going about this goal?
So that’s the goal statement, and that’s what every manifestation requires. Now, I don’t always do it if it’s a simple manifestation, but in general I recommend it. It’s going to do that for you. Now, I’m going to talk about the different levels or stages of the manifestation process. In doing this, I’m going to bring together a lot of different models that I’ve discussed in the past. I’ve been talking about the four levels of the path of manifestation on the blog. Currently we’re really only on the first two. The second one is going to be published soon.
Christine: Yay.
Brandon: Yes. This will take from that. It will take it a lot farther than what I’ve discussed in the post. It’s also going to unite it with the stuff from Robert Fritz that I used to talk about extensively. He had three stages. I’m going to merge those in with this. They fit in right in the same kind of process. I’m going to merge in stuff about the zero state. This is an overall structure, a model that brings everything together that I think I’ve ever talked about, pretty much. [laughs] Each stage of the manifestation process requires a different approach. You want to know which level you’re on. It’s not necessarily linear. You’ll go through the levels several times. You might go through the first three levels, then go through it again, and go through it again. Every time you focus on this and go through the levels, your manifestation gets stronger and stronger. This is not just a one-time thing. It’s not just “Oh, I’m on level 2.” It might be, “Where are you most of the time?”, but it’s not just linear process where this is definitely where I am right now. You might be there predominantly, but you will go back and forth. That’s quite okay.
The Level of Soul
Brandon: The structure of these levels goes in four levels, but they’re paired off. The first two levels have to do with the universe or God or whatever you want to call that part of the universe. That has to do with basically putting your desire out there, letting it go, and programming (I don’t want to say it in a technical way) or making your desire known so the universe acts on it. The second two levels are about you and becoming ready to receive the manifestation. The first two are about putting your desire out there to the universe and trusting that it’s going to respond, letting it do its thing. The second two are about you preparing yourself to receive the goal.
I’ve talked about transformation before. It’s not just this thing where you do the right things, take the right steps, visualize, affirm, do vision boards, whatnot, and you’re ready to get it. No, you are transformed by this goal—any goal that you have, no matter how big or small, you are going to be transformed by it. You have to get yourself ready to receive the goal, if that makes sense. That is how the levels work.
I mentioned in the post, I correlate them with the different worlds of Kabbalah. However much attention you want to pay to that, you can. It’s up to you.
Christine: But you should because it’s awesome.
Brandon: [laughs] But they fit really, really well, so I will be mentioning some of those terms and correlating them with what we’re doing here. Those are how the levels work. We’ll talk about them one at a time. I’m going to spend quite a bit of time on each level because each of them in turn is vitally important. There’s no level that’s not important. They are all essential to this process.
The first level is what I call the level of soul, corresponding to Kabbalah, it’s called the world of emanation. In Hebrew they call it Atziluth. The level of soul is the highest possible level you could even focus on. It’s unfortunate we have to start here because it’s the most abstract level.
Christine: It’s the hardest. [laughs]
Brandon: This level or world of emanation—I want to say quickly that each of these levels has an equivalent place in you and in the universe itself. I’ve talked about this in “The Art of Reality Creation #1,” where we talked about the different dimensions and different planes and how they correspond to the chakras. This is a different restructuring of that. When I talk about the level of soul, that’s your specific soul, but it’s also the essence of the entire universe, the source of everything, the universal soul, you could say. That’s why this is the world of emanation. It’s its own dimension of the universe, highest of all, above everything else.
It’s like the hermetic principle, “As above, so below.” Whatever is in the universe is also reflected in your own structure. I’m saying level of soul and world of emanation. They are one and the same thing. They have a lot of crossover. That’s why we’re focusing on a macro and micro level at the same time.
The Goal Seed Stage
Brandon: As I’m going through these levels, each has a stage. I talked about the four stages as it comes down to Robert Fritz. This isn’t one he talks about, but I’m going to call this “The Goal Seed Stage.”
Christine: I love it. Love it. There’s a theme here. This is a garden, just to give something away.
Brandon: Pretty much. This is the goal seed. I talked about this in the blog post about the soul level. I said, “If you had a whole bunch of different seeds, and you want to plant something specific, you have to choose the right seed.” In your manifestations, if you want to manifest money, you have to plant an abundance seed. You don’t want to plant a poverty seed by accident. [laughs] That’s very possible. That’s what a lot of us do. Same thing with relationships. If you want a healthy relationship, you don’t want to plant the loneliness seed. That’s just not going to work. You want to specify which seed you want. Imagine this huge storehouse of millions and millions of different seeds. You have to choose what you want to manifest. That’s why I had you do the goal statement. That goal statement will help you choose the seed that you’re manifesting. The seed is just the very core of the goal. It’s before any details.
On this level, the level of soul, we don’t have details. It doesn’t matter how much money or what kind of relationship. This is about the emotion. It’s the core essence of the goal you’re trying to manifest. That’s why it’s so vital when you’re doing your goal statement that you’re triggering that specific emotion that you want to be experiencing. This is, like I said, imagine that big storehouse with millions and millions of seeds. Each one is a different emotion. Emotion is even too strong of a word for it, because emotion isn’t on this level, but a different vibration is a better word. It’s more subtle. A different vibration, a different frequency. You have the abundance frequency or vibration, the poverty vibration.
Christine: You can feel it in yourself. You can feel the different vibrations or energies. It goes beyond emotion. It’s very energetic.
Brandon: Exactly. It’s very subtle, but most people experience it as emotion, so that’s perfectly okay. You’re not planting it yet. You’re just choosing it. I have a very special term I’m using for this level that helps you think of what exactly this is. This sounds sort of corny, but this is the term I was given when I was thinking of all this: the infinite possibilities matrix.
Christine: I love that. You didn’t tell me about this. Even the wife gets the secret.
Brandon: [laughs] I did not tell you about this. This is the infinite possibilities matrix—IPM, if you will.
Christine: I love that. It’s perfect. Thank you, God, for giving that to him.
Brandon: The reason I call it this is because this level or world is a matrix of literally infinite possibilities. If you think about the theory of parallel realities, this is where all those realities have their essence. This is where they all have their roots. So if there is a reality out there where you have that thousand dollars, or that relationship, or those health goals, this is where it starts. You have to start at the beginning, at the root. You start by choosing that possibility among infinite possibilities that you want to manifest.
Christine: If you want me to be corny, it reminds me of The Sound of Music, that song “Let’s start at the very beginning/ A very good place to start.” You’re lucky I didn’t sing it.
Brandon: [laughs] I heard you chuckling. I knew you were going to do something.
Christine: At least I didn’t sing it, even though I can sing.
Brandon: This is where you choose that goal seed. That huge storehouse of seeds I talked about is that infinite possibilities matrix. You can go in and choose any seed that you want. The thing is, the universe doesn’t judge. If you say through your focus that you want a poverty seed, it’s going to give you that. It’s not going to judge that, so you have to be very careful. I’m going to show you…
Christine: It’s pure energy there.
Brandon: Right. It’s your energy. I’m going to show you how you differentiate that.
Christine: I said “pure.”
Soul Level Key Word: Focus
Brandon: Pure. The key word. Each level is going to have a key word. The key word for this level is “focus.” The way that you zoom in on a reality that you want is by focus. You focus in. You magnify that specific reality that you want through focusing on that vibration. This is something that a lot of people already know, but it’s very important.
This is where the zero state comes in. I’ve talked about the zero state a lot in the past. I haven’t mentioned it by name lately, but it’s always there. This is the zero state. What is the zero state? I’ve talked about it before as the place within you where everything is still. That’s all true. It’s inner stillness and awareness. That’s all true. The zero state is the only way to get to this place. I’m going to talk about this. You’ll hear a bit about this in the Creators Circle that goes out soon, #9. You’ll hear about a bit of this. We were complaining about how hard it is to do this.
Christine: You’re going to be fine.
Brandon: I don’t want to tell you you have to get 100% there in order to make progress. That’s not true. Even just the very simple act of focusing will pluck a goal seed out of the storehouse or infinite possibilities matrix, and it will start to grow. But to get the best results from this dimension, level, or world, you need the zero state. I want you to try your best to get here. It only really comes through a lot of meditation and spiritual development, that kind of thing. Connection with your own soul and higher self is really the only way you’re ever going to get there, but don’t lament that if you can’t get there on day 1, you can’t manifest. It’s the best and fastest way to get what you want.
Christine: The more you do it, the better you’ll be. It’s not like it will be in vain if you do it a little bit and then lose your focus. Practice makes perfect, they say, and it’s true.
Brandon: Here’s what I want to say. You are focusing on thousands or even millions of things every day. Every time you give your focus to something, you are plucking out that goal seed from that storehouse and potentially planting it. If it’s a very brief focus, then maybe not. But if it’s something you keep focusing on over and over and over again, then you’re planting that seed, watering it, it’s growing, whether you like it or not. You’re doing this every day. You’re doing this process every single day. All I’m telling you is the fastest way to get that seed that you want to zoom in on that possibility or parallel reality that you want.
The Zero State
Brandon: Right now, you’re in this reality, but there is a reality out there where what you want is true and you have what you want. Imagine a switchboard, and you choose where you want to be directed. The only way you can do that is by really tuning in to this level. I’ve talked about stillness, and that’s what that is. One of my favorite authors, Richard Dotts, hasn’t released a book in ages for some reason. He talks about this. Inner peace is what he calls it. Anything like that. If you’ve ever read nondual teachers, they especially talk about this kind of state (the witness, awareness). If you can get there, that’s pretty much where this is.
I’m going to tell you how I, at least, get there in the fastest way. I think this is the ultimate necessary step to really get there 100%. Other things will get you there a bit or mostly, but if you can master this, it will get you there 100%. It doesn’t have to be really difficult. I can do this in a second or two, usually. Just going inside; it’s pretty easy. Basically what you’re doing when you focus within yourself, you have this awareness. You have all the thoughts going through your head. You have this sense of who I am. The thing is, as long as you have this sense of “this is who I am” or the “I am” sense, your reality has something to cling on to. If you’re aware of quantum physics and the observer effect, you know that when you observe something, a wave function collapses into a certain reality.
Christine: I didn’t know that, actually.
Brandon: No? I’ve talked about that before.
Christine: I don’t understand that stuff.
Brandon: We’ve talked about the concept of “A watched pot never boils” because you’re watching it.
Christine: It’s so true.
Brandon: Or Schrodinger’s cat, the cat in the box. You don’t know if it’s alive or dead unless you look at it. Until you do, it’s sort of both. As long as you have this “I am” sense that’s hanging around and experiencing this certain reality, in a certain sense you’re still observing that reality. The fastest way to get out of this reality and choose another is to remove what it’s hanging on to. What is it hanging on to? It’s hanging on to the observer. What’s the observer? The observer is the “I am” sense.
The best thing to do—it sounds simple, but it’s not—is to remove the “I am sense.” You remove that sense of “I am the one experiencing this.” What I do is go within and experience the awareness and everything around it, and let the sense of myself soften and merge in with everything else. Become the energy. Become the awareness. Become the universe itself if you want to. I find it’s the best way for resistance to leave because it has nothing to grasp. If there’s no center or nothing claiming these experiences, then there’s nothing for this reality to perpetuate. Does that make sense?
Christine: Yes, it does.
Brandon: It’s not me, Brandon. It’s just this collection of atoms floating around.
Christine: I don’t like that.
Brandon: Sorry. If you can do that, then you can (I almost want to say materialize) in a different reality, not instantaneously obviously, but you can focus in on the reality you want. That’s the thing to me that’s the key: when you can remove that sense of “I am the one experiencing this. I am the one having resistance. I am the one that’s not abundant like I want to be.” When you can remove that, then you can easily choose another reality.
So again, very nondual. I’m not saying you don’t exist. I’m saying your existence is not exactly what you think it is and you can choose how you manifest that.
Christine: It’s really cool, though. You talked to me about this privately, about the Adam.
Brandon: Adam Kadmon level.
Christine: Yes, you said the myth about the fall. You talked about the myth of the Fall, and how we’re all connected to Adam, to this thing or consciousness. But if we’re all connected to it, we’re really a piece of it. We’re a piece of energy; we are energy in a material body.
Brandon: Exactly, so if you soften the sense of “I am Brandon” “I am Christine” “I am whoever” and just say, “Here’s energy,” you’ve removed yourself from the equation. That reality has nothing to hold on to. You’re at zero. You are at zero. That’s the zero state. There’s nothing there. Then what you do is gradually start saying, “What would it be like?”
Christine: I heard that. Was that your phone?
Brandon: Yes. If you gradually start saying, “I’m not this person. I’m not Brandon or Christine. I am this energy, presence, awareness, beingness that is here and everywhere. There’s no separation.” On the level of soul, there is no separation. It doesn’t know about the world. It doesn’t know about time and space and all that. In this world, literally everything exists right now. Everything exists here. You are both abundant and poor. You are both in a relationship and not. You are both healthy and unhealthy. All of that’s true.
What you’re trying to do is remove yourself from one reality and enter another. The best and fastest way to do that is to literally remove the sense of “I” from that reality. When you have this thing that you don’t want, how can it possibly leave? If I am Christine that’s experiencing this thing I don’t like, then how can you change that reality?
There are slower ways, like just not paying attention to that situation for a while and focusing on the alternative. That kind of thing works, but the fastest, cleanest way is to remove that sense of identity with that situation and then choose a different situation. So this zero state is literally going to this place of zero and nonbeing and nonidentity with the experience that’s happening here, and then tuning in very lightly to abundance, relationship, love, health.
Christine: It makes you very dizzy when you do it.
Brandon: It’s an energetic experience, to be sure. I can do it in one or two seconds. I tune out of this sense of “I am” in this situation. Then, in this chaos, every religion says we started from chaos. Pretty much every religion says we started in a formless state. If you enter back into this formless state where there is not any specific person or reality and then you say, “Health. Abundance. Love,” and you feel the vibration of that, that’s all that exists in your reality. That’s your goal seed. That’s basically what you’re doing. You don’t have to maintain it for very long. It could be 15 seconds. I’m not asking you to be an ascetic living on a mountain meditating. If you can step out of your reality for 15 seconds and claim a different one, then you can do this more easily. What do you think of this, Christine?
Christine: That’s amazing. You were talking.
Brandon: That’s fine. It’s a deep experience. You’re becoming the all-that-is. You’re becoming more specific and focused on the new reality that you want. If the old one tries to encroach in, then you back off again and do it again. Your subconscious will still try to assert itself. When you focus on abundance, it will try to bring up that old reality. But when you start feeling that tension, back off back to zero and very gradually come in on abundance. That’s all you have to do. That’s the zero state. That’s how the level of soul works.
It’s this balancing act because the difficulty on this level is that there’s not much in the way of desire, so you have to bring that seed with you and very simply focus on the thing that you want, the very essence of it. It’s so important that this thing is in alignment with your core essence. If it’s not, it’s not going to work. If you say, “I want this job,” when you really don’t—it’s just something for money or some end purpose, you’re not going to be able to go there because you don’t feel it in your soul. So you really have to make sure this is in alignment with your core essence.
I told you each goal is very involved. [laughs] That’s the most difficult of them, though. Once you have your goal seed, you have the feeling of what you want. Your whole being will be filled by this awareness of the goal seed: abundance, health, love, whatever. The next level comes immediately after this one. If you do all this and then you start worrying about it and your ego asserts itself again (“Yeah, but”), you never get to plant the seed at all. That was the first level.
The Level of Mind
Brandon: The second level follows immediately after, and that is the level of mind. I called it the level of mind, but it is still dealing primarily with the universe. In the first level, you chose your goal. You told the universe, “This is what I want.” This is the level of will and purpose. Now, you give it over to the universe to act.
In a lot of different religions, there’s this idea of the masculine and feminine. In the Kabbalah, there’s this idea of the spheres of the Tree of Life, Chokhmah and Binah. That’s the masculine and feminine. Chokhmah was the level we were just on. Binah is the level we’re going into. In Hinduism with certain sects, there are Shiva and Shakti, the same kind of idea. Shiva is the masculine, active, creative force. Shakti is the receiving force that makes it all happen. Every religion that I’ve seen, or at least most of them, has this masculine-feminine motif going on. The masculine determines what is going to be created, and the feminine carries it out.
Christine: The Holy Spirit is feminine, I believe.
Brandon: If you imagine pregnancy and gestation, one name I call the second level, the level of mind, is the universal womb.
Christine: You remind me of Yonggi Cho. That’s probably where he took it.
Brandon: No. Because it is carrying forth your desire, your goal, and making it happen. When someone’s pregnant, there’s a lot going on for 9 months. You don’t really have much of a part of that.
Christine: It happens itself. [laughs]
Brandon: It just sort of happens. You can’t get the baby out and check if it’s okay and put it back in. [laughs]
Christine: [laughs] Shove the baby in! Sorry. Makes me cringe. I am a woman.
Brandon: Really? It’s this trusting process where you just have to know that it’s working out. The body is doing its thing. This is the same thing where the universe is carrying forth your desire. You have to trust that it’s going to work out. Planting a seed is the same sort of imagery of this pregnancy.
Christine: You can’t pull the seed out.
Brandon: You can’t pull the seed out. There’s a story I’ve heard of someone who was planting a seed and then pulling it out. He was a farmer, but nothing was growing.
Christine: I wonder why.
Brandon: He was planting a seed, taking it out, planting the seed, taking it out. It just wasn’t working. That’s not going to work. This level of mind or world of creation called Briah—different ways of writing and pronouncing that in the Kabbalah. This is creation, so this is where this process really starts. This is where you plant the seed. There’s no creation on the previous level. There’s just focus. Creation begins on this level. The stage that is associated with this is germination. The seed is planted. It starts to grow and sprout. It’s a very active stage. It’s sort of very active and passive at the same time. It’s a funny thing because there’s a lot going on with it. The mind is structured and logical. You’re adding more details here. It’s very active, and you’re really feeling inspired about the goal. It’s also very passive because it requires trust. We’ll talk about that soon.
The Creation from Nothing Stage
Brandon: This stage—I have told my clients this is the most difficult—besides the previous one, obviously. As far as creation goes, this is a very difficult stage. If you’ve ever heard of the term creation ex nihilo. It means creation from nothing. People say God created the world from nothing. When you’re at this stage, you don’t have anything else to rely on.
Let’s say this. When I first started doing my money goals, I didn’t have anything to go on. I wasn’t aware. I wasn’t familiar with the vibration of abundance. I just wasn’t. I experienced it in very short stints throughout my life, but nothing major.
Christine: Not like this.
Brandon: Not like this. I didn’t know that vibration. I could kind of tune in to it. It’s very hard when you don’t know it yet. You’re just imagining, so it’s hard.
Christine: Yes, it’s very hard.
Brandon: This is creation from nothing because at this stage, you just really don’t know what it’s going to be like. It’s hard to visualize. It’s hard to really get in that place. You can try to visualize, but realistically speaking, I don’t know what it’s going be like when I’m there.
Christine: In my goal, I’ve never experienced it. I don’t know what it’s like. I’m just guessing.
Brandon: This stage is very much creation ex nihilo, creation from nothing, where you just don’t know what to expect. In computer science, we have this term called “bootstrapping.” There’s this old phrase “pick yourself up by your bootstraps.” It’s something that’s impossible. You can’t pick yourself up. It’s a very difficult thing. Bootstrapping is when things are starting out with a program on a computer, something like that. It’s a starting out process. When you’re in this level or at this stage, you don’t really have much to go on. It takes a lot of trust. It takes a lot of consistent focus. It’s the most difficult because you don’t know where things are going.
I also call this the universal CPU. I’m sorry, it’s the computer side of me. It stands for “central processing unit.” It’s that part of your computer that takes all the instructions and executes them. It sends millions or even billions of instructions every second, and all it does is execute them. It doesn’t…
Christine: Basically a powerhouse.
Brandon: Yes, it doesn’t think about what it’s doing. It can’t choose whether it wants to do it or not. It just does it. So, in the blog post, I give the example of going onto a website and clicking the wrong link. You don’t yell at your computer, “You should have known what I wanted to click!” You realize you did it. You clicked on the wrong link. You set that in motion, and that happened. The computer just faithfully carried out what you told it to do. You clicked on the link and it went there.
Christine: It’s just like when you play the piano. All 88 keys are there. It can’t play itself. If you make a mistake, it’s your fault, not the piano’s fault.
Brandon: This level is where when we talk about the universe, this is often what we talk about. It’s that part that has all the laws. It’s where the law of attraction is, and all the different laws there are. These laws are carried out without any kind of background choice. If you tell the universe, “I want this,” it’s not going to say no. If you’re focused on that, then those events are going to be set in motion. That’s not to say a higher self, guide, or deity might not discourage a certain thing, but the universe itself—those laws are laws. The law of gravity can’t say, “Nah, I don’t want to hold you down today.”
Christine: That would be fun.
Brandon: [laughs] The law of attraction can’t say, “No, I don’t want to bring you what you’re focusing on today.” It can’t do that. It won’t do that. It’s just impossible. The CPU of your computer cannot say, “No, I don’t want to let you go to this website.” It just can’t happen. It will do what it’s programmed to do. This is the processor of the universe or central computer of the universe, where all the laws take place and everything happens.
Christine: Even science has laws. An object in motion stays in motion, or whatever it is. That’s just the way it is. And Murphy’s law.
Brandon: Right. No, not Murphy’s law. Newton’s law. [laughs] Murphy’s law is everything can go wrong, will go wrong. That’s not a real law.
Christine: [laughs] That’s not what I meant. I meant an object in motion tends to stay in motion. Oops. But my point is, science acknowledges laws. When it’s a law, it’s a law. It’s not a theory. A law is something that happens all the time. But a theory is subject to change.
Brandon: That’s why I say this stuff is a science and an art, because it will happen every time. It’s an art because the way you approach it can differ, but the principles are the same everywhere all the time. This is that part that just takes what it’s given and develops it into the manifestation. It creates it.
Christine: CPU.
Brandon: [laughs] That’s why, again, you’re adding more detail. You’re starting with the vibration of love, abundance, health, whatever. Here’s where you’re adding, “I specifically want $1,000 or $10,000” or whatever. “I specifically want this kind of relationship, long-term. I want this person to have these qualities.” “I specifically want to be doing this with health or lose this much weight.” That’s where you start to add these details.
Mind Level Key Word: Trust
Brandon: The key word for this level is “trust.” Basically, here’s what happens. This requires trust. When you’re hanging on to this goal seed, your ego wants nothing more than to take that and force it into place. That’s what it will do. If it has its hands on this goal, it will say, “All right, just focus on it enough. Visualize it enough. Affirm it enough.” This is counter-intuitively where you have to surrender. You have to let it go.
Christine: Leave it alone. Like you’re planting a seed. You water it, sure, but you don’t check on it. Leave it alone. Let it do its thing.
Brandon: This is where you’re letting go and letting the process take place. Here’s what you have to do, carrying on the process from before. You have your goal seed. You’ve entered the zero state and removed that sense of “I” as identifying with the situation. You’ve focused on the goal seed and the vibration of what you want. You have it in mind and it’s filling up your energy, body, mind, whatever. The next thing is basically to let it go.
What I do before I do this (and this kind of strengthens things) is say, “I choose for this to happen.” This is where choosing comes in. This is the mind. I’m choosing. I will it. I choose for this to happen. Again, the ego wants to come in and take control and make it happen. That won’t work, so what you do here is—let’s say you’re listening to this and you can get back to that goal seed place—take that (it might be pretty strong, it might not) and soften it. Let it go. I choose this, and let it go. I’ve talked about the analogy of dropping a pebble into a still pond. When you can do this without any argument or resistance, it goes so far. You want to let it go.
Richard Dotts talks about this. I don’t remember what he calls it at the moment, but he talks about how the universe responds. You get this affirmation. What you’re going to do is hold that state and goal seed. Then you let it go. You’re going to feel this tension for a second. “I don’t want to let go.” It’s sort of difficult. Then you feel this resolution. The seed is gone, but you’re in this deep state of stillness.
It’s not the same stillness as the zero state I talked about. It’s just a deep state of stillness where it’s out there and you’re in a state of really profound peace. You don’t want to move on until you experience this. This is when you know it’s been planted. It’s out there. The universe says yes. When you can do that, that’s when you know things are moving. Are you getting that, Christine?
Christine: Yes. I’m doing that as we speak.
Brandon: I know you are. That’s why I asked.
Christine: It’s hard to let it go. You think you can until actually—it’s like I’m playing tug-of-war or something.
Brandon: When you do, you will get this resolution. In music you will have this, and that’s why Robert Fritz talks about this. You will have this suspension of a chord that is not resolved, and then the music resolves. If you just end a suspended chord, then it’s like, “Okay, what’s next?” Then it resolves. That’s what it’s like. You have that moment of tension. “This is what I want. I really want this.” But you’re still letting go, and it resolves. It just clicks. You feel the click. You feel the response.
Christine: You just don’t feel the tension anymore.
Brandon: You know it’s out there. For me, it’s not like I was back where I started. It’s a deeper, more profound state. It’s done. I think Richard Dotts talks about this. He has a book called It is Done.
Christine: Yes. That was one of the first ones you read, isn’t it?
Brandon: He talks about this state where it is done. You feel this deep knowing that it’s done.
Christine: That is hard because this one is bigger.
Brandon: If you want to, you can start with a smaller goal to see how it works. For me, that’s what I need to feel to know it’s out there. When you do that, the seed is planted. It is out there. It is being developed. It’s in germination or gestation, if you want to go with that metaphor. It’s being developed. How long it takes—who knows? But it’s out there. The more you can let go and trust it to that universal flow or the process, the faster it can happen. If your ego keeps trying to control it even after this fact, and it probably will, that will slow things down. You don’t want it to do that. This process or level is extremely important because this is where you really let go of the seed.
Fear of Surrender
Christine: What do you do if you encounter fear when you’re trying to let it go?
Brandon: You just are mindful of it. You don’t let it attach. You don’t react to it. You let that be another wave on the surface of the lake, so to speak. You don’t argue with it. You don’t do anything. Sometimes when it’s really bad, it might take me 10 minutes to get to this place for a really big goal. Sometimes it might take 10 minutes because all these fears are coming up. It’s because in Kabbalah we have the abyss that comes right after this. This is what’s going to get you across that. The abyss is where all those fears come up. The abyss is between the world of creation, Briah, and the world of formation, which we’ll talk about next, Yetzirah. Or the levels of mind and emotion. There’s this abyss between the two because you’re going from the universe to self, and it’s not easy. But once you have that resolution, that’s when you know you’ve crossed and you’re on the next level.
Like I said, this won’t just happen once. This is not a one-time process and that’s it. You might do this—you probably should do this—every day. It will get easier and easier every time you do it. The processes you are already doing are probably some form or embodiment of this deeper process. It’s just this is the most deep-down, basic, universal principle that gets the core of all this that I can find.
Even when you say, “I’m visualizing this thing,” that’s the level of soul. Then after the visualization you let it go. That’s this level of mind. If you affirm and feel the emotion and let it go, same sort of thing. You have to let it go. You can’t be obsessing about it all day long. You’re already doing this. I’m just helping you to know how it all works and how to do it better and more mindfully.
That is how this level works. I feel like perhaps we should split this into two parts. There’s still two more levels to go. What do you think, Christine?
Christine: I don’t really care. I’m fine.
Brandon: I think that might be best because this is a lot of material. It’s a lot of new material. There’s a lot more to go.
Christine: So when will we do the next one, tomorrow?
Brandon: Probably.
Christine: It’s your birthday, though.
Brandon: That’s okay. I don’t care. This is part one. Again, I would go through this several times if you have to. This is the most essential part of the process. I mean, the whole thing is, but this is really where it’s at. The next part we’ll talk about levels three and four. Level three is really where a lot of the resistance comes in, too. We’ll talk about some ways of dealing with all that. I think it will be best to split these up right now. Let this part sit. When you feel ready, you can listen to the next recording. If you want to give it a few days, give it a few days. Practice this stage of it. That’s a lot of it. There’s a lot more, but this is a lot of it. Practice focusing on the seed and then letting it go to the universe. That’s when you’re crossing over to level three, which we’ll talk about next time. I think that will be best for not letting this be overwhelming and not be too much at once.
Christine: I think you’re right. I think that’s a good idea.
Brandon: That’s it for now. If you need to take time until the next recording, that’s perfectly fine. Really practice this material because this is very important. If you do have questions, please feel free to let me know. I’d be happy to answer them. This is something you don’t want to just guess on. This is your chance to know how all this stuff works together. I hope that you enjoy this. We’ll see you soon on the next recording for the other two levels.
Christine: Sounds good.
Brandon: Bye, everyone.
Christine: Bye. Anything is possible.
Brandon: Anything is possible.
